Live Brief · Turner Duckworth · Aisle Hop
"Taking Kellogg's out of the breakfast aisle and into quick meal culture."
Turner Duckworth challenged designers to aisle hop — take a familiar household brand and move it somewhere unexpected. I chose Kellogg's, and moved it from the cereal aisle into the snack and quick meal space with a completely new product concept: a build your own crunch bowl kit with Asian and Indian flavour influences, aimed at Gen Z who want something fast, customisable and actually exciting to eat.
The Crunch Bowl Kit contains corn chips, spice mixes, sauces and assembly instructions — everything you need to build a satisfying quick meal or snack in under two minutes. No cooking. No faff. Just crunch.
The branding is bold, playful and unapologetically loud, with hand-drawn illustration and a colour palette that feels more streetfood stall than supermarket shelf. The illustration style draws from Indian pop art and vintage packaging — quirky characters, flat bold shapes, retro linework.
